Men's Swimming Scores Easy Victories Over Goucher, Immaculata

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elizabethtown men's swim team opened the home portion of its schedules with wins over Goucher (132-64) and Immaculata (148-39) Saturday afternoon.

The men's team racked up seven first place finishes and six second place finishes, carrying them to the dominating victories.

Senior Casey Marshall and Austin Dolaway led the way for the Blue Jays, securing three victories apiece. Marshall took individual victories in the 200 IM (2:09.90) and the 100 fly (57.08). Before teaming up with Dolaway, sophomore Sam Lopez and freshman Logan Miller for a dominating nine second victory in the 200 medley relay (1:46.34).

Dolaway cemented his other two victories in the 200 free (1:54.54) and then capped it off with another relay victory with Lopez, junior Ryan Weber and sophomore Nathan Tobler in the 200 free relay (1:36.59).

Freshman Nathan Tindell (1,000 free) and sophomore Alex Patterson (500 free) were the other individual winners for Elizabethtown, touching the wall in 11:11.54 and 5:22.55 respectively.

Taking second place finishes for the Blue Jays were freshman Kale Decker in the 1,000 free (11:16.16) and 100 free (55.20), Patterson in the 200 free (1:58.49), Lopez in the 50 free (23.61), Tobler in the 100 back (1:04.52) and Miller in the 100 breast (1:07.76).

The men's swim team hits the road for its next two meets, starting Saturday, Nov. 2, at Frostburg. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
