SCRANTON, Pa. -- Elizabethtown went back and forth with host Scranton in Tuesday night's dual matchup between the Blue Jays and Royals. Each side led twice before a pin set Scranton on a path toward victory over E-town, 31-15.

After Matthew Murawski won by tech fall to begin the dual for Scranton, Elizabethtown got six points right back at 133 on a forfeit.

The Royals jumped back in front on a low-scoring 2-1 decision by Brandon Altieri the next weight class up at 141 lbs. Josh Paisley answered for the Jays with a tech fall of his own at 149 and E-town led 11-8 early on.

T.J. Conlon scored a major decision, 16-4, at 157 lbs. as Scranton provided the fifth lead change of the match. This time, however, it would be for good. A pin for the Royals at 165 pushed the hosts up by seven, 18-11. Another pin and a major decision helped Scranton toward its 31-point output.

At 184, Dayne Ross won by major decision, 14-5, over Justin Weimer to provide four points to EC, who trailed 24-15 going into the 197 match.

Nick Gonzalez, Dan Jerrems, and Nikolay Savin were all victorious in their exhibition matches. Gonzalez won by pin fall at 55 seconds, Jerrems scored a 7-5 decision, and Savin recorded a 13-4 major decision.

The Blue Jays will travel to Shippensburg on Friday night at 7 p.m.
