CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- After earning All-Landmark First Team honors two weeks ago in helping the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team win a fifth straight conference championship,
Colleen Kernan and
Olivia Gerstenbacher finished in the top 35 at Saturday's NCAA Division III Mideast Regional to earn all-region honors.

Gerstenbacher, the Landmark Conference's runner-up two weeks back, was not far behind her senior teammate. In the mid 30's through the first 2,000 meters, the sophomore maneuvered her way up to 24th by race's end. Gerstenbacher ran 23:50 and earned her first all-region honor.

Melissa Fitzgibbon completed her first regional race in 24:56, and
Emma Ager, who also competed at the Mideast Regional for the first time, was the final scorer for the Blue Jays. She took 110th in 25:25.
As a team, Elizabethtown ended with 277 points which put them eighth out of 47 teams.
