CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Colleen Kernan had her third consecutive top ten finish for the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team, who took seventh overall out of 26 teams with 178 points. Dickinson won the meet with 28 points.

Kernan was one of three Elizabethtown runners in the top 20. She placed eighth overall in 23:13.4. Olivia Gerstenbacher took 21st in 23:51.4.

Melissa Fitzgibbon, Emily Nelson, and Hallie Weaver were the remaining scorers for E-town. Fitzgibbon was 35th in 24:27.2, Nelson took 56th in 25:41.5 and Weaver was two spots behind in 58th in a time of 25:48.3.

Elizabethtown will compete at the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University next Saturday, October 13, at 11 a.m.
