Golfers fifth at Landmark Fall Invitational

MOOSIC, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown men's golf team placed fifth of six teams at Saturday afternoon's Landmark Fall Invitational hosted by Scranton at Glenmaura National Golf Club.

Junior Tyler Goldberg and sophomore Garrett Leib carded rounds of 91 (+20) to lead the Blue Jays.

Craig Eidle shot 96 and Josh Diker 102 to round out Elizabethtown's scoring quartet. The Jays finished with a 96-over par team score of 380.

Moravian won the tournament with a score of 319 (+35), holding off Scranton (326) by seven shots. Goucher took third at 346.

Individual medalist honors went to the Greyhounds' Kevin Kunkle, who shot a 4-over 75 to best Scranton's Thomas McAuliffe by one shot.

Elizabethtown returns to action next Wednesday at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational.
