Jays complete first round at Penn State Harrisburg Invitational

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Felix Goettfert's 8-over par 80 was best among the four Elizabethtown scores Sunday in the opening round of the two-day Penn State Harrisburg Invitational at Dauphin Highlands.

Goettfert, the team's low scorer last Tuesday in its fall opener, once again led the way and sits in a four-way tie for 35th overall.

Senior Kyle Hakun followed his sophomore teammate by shooting an 85 (+13). Freshman Alex Albenzi and sophomore Tyler Goldberg both played the par-72 course in 89 (+17).

The Blue and Gray were 13th in the 13-team field with a 343 (+55) team score after day one of the tournament, but did not compete in Monday's final round.
