TOWSON, Md. -- Casey Marshall and Kieran Koehler accounted for all five individual event victories Saturday as Elizabethtown men's swimming earned its first dual win of the season, 150-111, at Goucher.

The Blue Jays established 11 new season-best times --some in events they were competing in for the first time this season.

Marshall turned heads in his collegiate debut against York (Pa.) last Saturday and had an even more successful follow-up meet against the Gophers.

The freshman from Dover, Pennsylvania, led off the 400-yard medley relay with a 56.68 100 backstroke split. Kieran Koehler took the breaststroke, Tommy Kuhn the butterfly and Alec Schneider the freestyle legs to lead Elizabethtown to victory by more than six seconds (3:50.42).

Marshall won his first of three individual events in the 200 free, where he led teammate Sam Hirshberg to the wall with a time of 1:55.78. Hirshberg clocked in at 1:59.92 and Ben Spangler 2:06.27 as the Jays claimed three of the top four scorers.

Marshall would go on to win the 100 fly in 55.82 and the 200 individual medley in 2:08.62 to complete a four-win day overall.

Koehler's triumphs came in the 50 breast (29.39) and 100 breast (1:06.27). E-town swept the top three spots in the 100 breast. Spangler took second and Ethan Weber third.

Koehler, a senior, swam on Elizabethtown's winning 400 free relay team (3:30.93) along with David Foery, Hirshberg and Schneider. Koehler and Marshall had a role in all seven of the Blue Jays' wins.

Individual season-best times were set by Schneider in the 50 free (23.29), Marshall in the 100 back (59.68), 100 fly (55.82), 200 free (1:55.78) and 200 IM (2:08.62), Nick Petrella in the 50 back (27.66) and 500 free (5:49.97), David Foery in the 1000 free (11:24.31), Kieran Koehler in the 50 breast (29.39) and Tommy Kuhn in the 50 fly (25.58).

The 400 free relay (3:30.93) and 400 medley relay (3:50.42) teams also secured new season-bests.

Elizabethtown improved to 1-1 (1-0 Landmark) in duals with the win, while the Gophers fell to 1-3 (0-1). The Blue Jays will go for their second win in a row on Nov. 5, when they travel to Washington, D.C., to swim against Gallaudet.
