Alumni Pool

Elizabethtown College’s natatorium features Alumni Pool, completed in mid-1960’s before receiving a major upgrade in 2007, serves as the home for the Blue Jays’ men’s and women’s swimming teams.

The facility boasts a 25-yard, six-lane racing pool. Other features include updated locker rooms, lane lines and in 2018 a brand new Colorado Timing System with a new LED timing board an timing console.Prior to the 2023-24 season, new starting blocks were put into the facility.

In 2020 the College made a number of upgrades to increase the quality of the water without increasing the chemical usage. A new water filtration system was installed with state-of-the art AFM glass media in the filters. The fiberglass filter tanks were replaced along with a significant amount of piping below the pool and a new electron chemical system controller was installed along with an ultraviolet light filter.

Alumni Pool is located just off the hallway connecting the Baugher Student Center and Jay Walk and is steps from Thompson Gymnasium. When offered, open swim times are available for campus and community members throughout the school year and summer. For more information CLICK HERE.
