Thompson Gymnasium, home of Elizabethtown College basketball, volleyball and wrestling was dedicated in January of 1970. The facility was named in honor of the late Dr. Troy M. Thompson and his wife Elsie S. Thompson, longtime supporters of Elizabethtown College student-athletes.

Thompson Gymnasium, with a capacity of 1,000 spectators, is an outstanding venue to watch Etown’s men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball and wrestling compete. On top of Kauffman court, named after legendary women’s basketball coach Yvonne “Yonnie” Kauffman, the facility has two auxiliary courts for practice and intramural sports.

The building also houses Alumni Pool, six locker rooms, an athletic training room and weight room.
