Bekah Slattery is in her third season as the head softball coach at Elizabethtown in 2024.
Slattery is the 10
th head coach for the Blue Jays. Prior to her appointment, she served as an assistant softball coach and game day coordinator at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, beginning in September 2019.
In her first season, Slattery coached her first All-Landmark Conference selection in Kadyn Crisswell. Then, in 2024, Slattery had a pair of all-conference selections in Brooke Huczko and Hannah Long, the first pair of teammates to earn All-Landmark honors for the program since 2019.
As a member of the Rams’ softball staff, she helped with recruiting and academic support of student-athletes, along with her coaching duties. Slattery was also a part of field maintenance, uniform care, and operations. In addition, she assisted in the organization and coordination of game day staff and workers for all home SU athletic events.
Slattery was a standout softball student-athlete at Lock Haven University, where she was a four-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete, a 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District and All-America selection, and two-time NFCA All-American. She was also named the NCAA CCA Division II Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year in 2019 and NCAA CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team selection in 2018 and 2019. Slattery graduated with a Master of Science in Sport Administration in August 2019.
She has also served as a head or assistant coach on a variety of travel teams and has instructed at various college prospect camps since 2016. Most recently, Slattery was the head coach of the Berks/Lancaster/Lebanon Carpenter Cup team in 2021.
