Michael Ahern '93 ruled the Middle Atlantic Conference at 118 pounds from his sophomore season on. He won back-to-back-to-back conference titles, culminating with his being named Sam Spinelli Award winner as the most outstanding wrestler at the 1993 MAC Championships. Ahern was also a four-time NCAA Division III Tournament qualifier in his weight class.
Ahern is the wrestling program's career wins leader with 121 (121-19) and owner of three 30-win seasons. His best season came as a sophomore in 1990-91 when he went 33-2. The 33 victories are good for 11th most in a single-season in program history.
