Kevin Clark '08 holds distinction as Elizabethtown College track & field's first national champion. He cleared 17'1-1/2” (5.22m) at the 2007 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. to win gold for the Blue Jays.

While the national title highlighted Clark's storied career, he also was a 2006 All-American in the pole vault at both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships, finishing runner-up in the outdoor vault. After winning the indoor pole vault during his junior season, Clark qualified for nationals in the decathlon and pole vault on the outdoor circuit. He grabbed two more All-America honors as a senior, first at the 2008 Indoor Championships in the pole vault (4th) and again in the decathlon (4th) at the Outdoor Championships.

Kevin, for all of his success on the national level, helped lead Elizabethtown to four straight Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Championships and MAC Outdoor Championships in 2007 and 2008. He was named MAC Track Athlete of the Year at the '08 Outdoor Championships. Clark still holds indoor records in the pole vault and as part of the 4x400-meter relay team. Outdoors, he continues to hold records in the pole vault and decathlon, as well as the 4x100-meter and 4x200-meter relays.

A native of Horsham, Pa., Kevin is a 2004 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School. He earned his degree in accounting from Elizabethtown.

In March 2013, Clark was named Mideast Region Indoor Assistant Coach of the Year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2012-13 indoor season.
