The only three-time conference Most Valuable Player in Elizabethtown College women's basketball's storied history, Brenda Wessel Spackman produced 1,488 points and 582 rebounds while leading the Blue Jays to the 1995 Middle Atlantic Conference championship and two NCAA Division III Tournament appearances.

Wessel Spackman is one of just 14 Elizabethtown players to register more than 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career. She played on teams that went a combined 81-29, while averaging more than 11 points, five rebounds and two assists per game all four seasons.

Legendary head coach Yvonne Kauffman knew she had a special player in the 5-foot-10 guard from Hershey, when Wessel Spackman burst onto the scene with 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as a freshman in 1994-95, en route to All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team honors.

Wessel Spackman would average a career-high 15.4 points per game as a sophomore and no less than 14.4 per season over the next three in earning All-MAC Commonwealth First Team and MAC Commonwealth MVP accolades.
