ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- Four Elizabethtown College baseball players earned D3baseball.com All-Region honors announced by the organization, Tuesday.
Quinten Perilli was named to the first team,
AJ Lipscomb was named to the second team and
David Woolley and
Paul Kvech earned third team honors.
Perilli and Woolley earn their third straight d3baseball.com All-Region honor.
After recently being named Landmark Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season, Perilli started in all 41 games for the Jays this season as he led the team in hits (55), runs (51), home runs (7), and RBIs (49). This season, the utility player become the all-time program leader with 149 RBIs and most recently became the Landmark Conference career leader in home runs with 31. Perilli also appeared in nine games on the mound grabbing two wins. He totaled 30 strikeouts with a career-high of six vs. Heidelberg and Lycoming.
Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year, Lipscomb made 11 appearances on the mound totaling 48.1 innings pitched. The freshman led the Conference with a 1.86 ERA. He recorded 44 total strikeouts while grabbing a career-high of nine at Moravian this season. Lipscomb also appeared in 27 games while totaling 46 at-bats in which he tallied 18 hits and nine RBIs.
A Landmark All-Conference first teamer, Woolley appeared in 36 games, totaling 51 hits, 49 runs, and 29 RBIs. This season he surpassed 100 career RBIs and 100 career walks. Woolley ended his season with his first career grand slam against Scranton in the Landmark Conference Tournament.
First year pitcher, Kvech rounds out the all-region nods after being named to the Landmark All-Conference second team. Kvech ended the season with a 1.23 ERA while earning two wins and four saves in 22 innings pitched. Kvech totaled 15 strikeouts with a career-high of four against Salisbury.
